HEAD QUARTERS

The tranquil environment of the campus of Sree Sarada Ashrama includes temple of Holy Mother Sree Sree Saradamoni Devi, a School, Ashrama Office and a Social Welfare Office at 

P-628, New Alipur, Kolkata – 700053.  

The Head Quarters takes the responsibility of managing all important functions and activities of the other branches, school and social welfare organization. The following units belong directly to the Ashrama Head Quarters: 

Temple of Sree Sree Maa: Holy Mother’s temple is located at the main building of Ashrama. It is the source of all inspirations of the activities of Ashrama members. The serenity of the temple attracts true seekers of spirituality to assemble here. In the Temple, worship of Sree Ramakrishna, Sree Saradamoni Devi and Swami Vivekananda is performed regularly by evening arati , bhajanas and fortnightly Ramnam Samkirtana. The birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda are duly celebrated with special puja and homa. On these occasions meetings are conducted and thousands of women devotees use to join the celebrations. Ashrama also organizes other religious festivals. Ashrama organizes weekly classes on religious topic for the women. 

Ashrama Office: The Branch Centres, Social Welfare Office and the School are governed and regulated by the Ashrama Office.

 Sanyasinis Quarters: The Sanyasinis, spiritual followers of Sree Sree Maa, stay in the quarters and live a strict disciplinary life. 

Social Welfare Office: The Social Welfare office takes the responsibility of all the activities of Social Welfare Projects of the Association. The working hour of the office is at 11am to 5:30pm. 

Exclusive Handicrafts: It is located at the left side of the main gate of Ashrama. Religious books, photos, various beautiful crafts and handmade products are available in the showroom. It remains open between 11am to 7:30am.

 Schools: The Ashrama runs five renowned schools successfully recognized by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education to West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. The school is offering education both in Bengali and English medium. In the year 2009, School Authority introduced English Medium Division along with the Bengali Medium School. 

Hostel: The school facilitates the privilege of hostel for the distant students. Many activities outside the classroom take place in the hostel where student can learn to live harmoniously with one another thus inculcate discipline and self reliance.
